Market focus
"The strategic goal of the AWD Group is to continue to grow. We want to continually strengthen the company's market position, both in already-established markets as well as in future growth markets."
Nils Frowein, Deputy Chairman of the board of directors and Chief Operating Officer at AWD Holding AG
The AWD business model comprising holistic and demand-oriented financial planning represents a growth concept, not only in core markets and growth markets of the AWD Group, but also in potential future markets:
Grow in established markets
The business model consisting of demand-oriented financial planning has proved to be a guarantee of consistently increasing sales figures in the AWD core markets. The AWD Group systematically identifies markets with growth potential and focuses completely on their development and on the implementation of the core competence: Best Select financial optimisation.
This results in an environment in which the AWD business model makes the most of its strengths and generates high added value for its customers: security and orientation in a confusing and increasingly complex financial environment, as well as financial freedom and individual finance advice for the mass market.

Open up the growth markets in Central and Eastern Europe
The AWD Group business model is successful in its core markets. It is, however, just as important to be able to apply the AWD business model to any market whose profile shows the right characteristics. This applies especially to the region of Central and Eastern Europe.
The AWD Group has already recognised the future opportunities in Central and Eastern Europe at an early stage and, in doing so, started tapping into them. Based on the strengths of demand-oriented financial optimisation, this region will develop into a long-term core market.

Take advantage of potential in emerging markets
Former emerging markets develop into growth regions. Here, demographic development over the coming decade will mean a drastic increase in demand for private insurance and pension plans. The demand for public pension provisions is usually low, therefore making private insurance inevitable. Due to the growing economic power of these countries, there is an emerging middle class who can afford to make an appropriate investment in private pension provision.
